The slab_modal series of temporary seating surfaces is an exploration into material singularity. Utilizing quarter inch cold rolled steel folded upon itself to construct a bi-directional living surface. Finished in an evolving blackening treatment, the appearance will mature through use. Existing in a state of implied perpetual motion albeit a static form.
