3 DAY INTENSIVE DESIGNSTORM
WITH VANS AND ARTCENTER.



New digital printing technologies unlock new opportunities for textile and garment design. Much of the apparel industry is yet to fully understand the scope of possibilities digital printing enables.

In this DesignStorm, VF is looking to explore how these new technologies allow us to create a new kind of visual content that redefines the relationship between the print and the product it lives on, across multiple brands and multiple product categories (Apparel, Footwear, Equipment).

This exploration will take place at the confluence between Product and Graphic Design and will aim to push the boundaries of our understanding of the role of color, pattern, shape and movement and their impact on performance, well-being, and style. In addition to Vans, the project will include these related brands: The North Face, Timberland, Kipling, Eastpak, JanSport, Smartwool, Napapijri and Dickies.
